How Data Moves from Relativity to eDiscovery AI

When you use eDiscovery AI with Relativity, here's a simplified explanation of how your data is handled:

1)      Sending Data:

a)      Relativity securely sends your data to eDiscovery AI via API.

b)     This happens in a private, secure Azure environment.

2)      Processing:

a)      eDiscovery AI receives and processes your data.

b)     All this happens in the same secure Azure environment where all client data is stored completely separate.

3)      Results:

a)      After processing, eDiscovery AI sends the results back to Relativity.

b)     These results are then available in your Relativity workspace.

4)      Data Protection:

a)      Your original data is permanently deleted from eDiscovery AI immediately after processing and no backups are maintained.

b)     Any work product created by eDiscovery AI during processing is kept for 24 hours, then also deleted. This 24 is customizable if your project or organizational needs require something else.

5)      Security:

a)      The entire process uses secure connections and access controls.

b)     Your data never leaves the protected cloud environment, cannot be accessed by any third parties, and is not subject to any content monitoring or filtering.

6)      Privacy:

a)      eDiscovery AI doesn't keep or use your data for any other purpose and it is not used to train any AI models.

b)     The system has been designed from day one to maintain the confidentiality of your information.

This process ensures that your data is handled securely, processed efficiently, and promptly removed from the eDiscovery AI system. You get the benefits of advanced AI processing while maintaining control and privacy of your data.
