eDiscovery AI Data Privacy & Security
Understanding Data Privacy and Security in eDiscovery AI
At eDiscovery AI, we prioritize the privacy and security of
your data. This guide explains our approach to data protection and how you can
ensure your information remains secure while using our platform.
1.
Our Data Privacy Commitment
- No External Training:
Your data is never used to train our AI models.
- No Third-Party Sharing:
We do not send your data to any third parties.
- No Content Moderation:
eDiscovery AI is exempt from any content filtering or moderation, meaning
there is no external access of any kind.
2.
How We Protect Your Data
a.
Data Isolation
i.
Separate Processing: Your data is processed and
stored in complete isolation, separate from other clients' data.
ii.
No Cross-Contamination: Our system architecture
prevents any possibility of data mixing between different cases or clients.
3.
Data Retention
- Client Data Deletion: Any
documents sent to eDiscovery AI for review are deleted immediately after
processing and no backups of this data are maintained.
- eDiscovery AI Data
Retention: The work product created by eDiscovery AI is retained for 24
hours by default, but this setting can be adjusted as needed as well.
4.
Data Encryption
- In-Transit Encryption:
All data transmitted to and from our servers is encrypted using
industry-standard protocols.
- At-Rest Encryption: Data
stored on our servers is encrypted, protecting it even if physical access
to the servers were compromised.
Data Privacy has been a top priority since we first launched
eDiscovery AI and is central to everything we do. We’re happy to work with your
information security team to provide the appropriate documentation and work
through any security screenings.
