eDiscovery AI Release Notes - August 12, 2026

Early Case Intelligence  accuracy and completeness fixes

- Document summaries now reliably reach your review platform. A defect could cause an entire batch of summaries to be skipped when writing results back to Relativity, leaving the Summary field blank for those documents. Fixed.

- Merged timelines keep their detail. When timelines are combined across a run, individual events now retain the full detail of the underlying analysis rather than reading shorter than the source.

- Job records now show the full run configuration in Relativity, so you can see exactly how a run was set up.

Some results delivered before this release may have been affected most visibly, blank Summary fields on otherwise complete runs. Nothing is re-processed automatically. If you'd like us to check a specific matter, contact your eDiscovery AI representative and we'll review it.

Privilege jobs recover on their own

Privilege family checks that previously stalled and required support intervention now detect the condition and correct themselves, so a job completes instead of sitting idle.

Steadier processing on large matters

Background job-completion and statistics processes now ride out brief database interruptions on their own instead of stopping. In practice: fewer long-running jobs that appear to stop progressing for no visible reason.

Lists no longer repeat or skip a row

Paging through Key Documents, job lists and document lists could occasionally show the same item twice or miss one entirely, where several items shared a sort value. Ordering is now stable, so every page shows exactly what it should.

Smaller fixes

- Maintenance notices no longer appear on printed pages or exported PDFs.

⚠️ Action required - Relativity plugin version

Early Case Intelligence now writes the Parent Job ID, Run Case Elements and Run CaseBot fields to Relativity unconditionally; the previous plugin-version check has been removed.

Any workspace still running an eDiscovery AI plugin older than 3.x will see Early Case Intelligence job submissions fail with a Relativity connection error. Please confirm your plugin version before this release lands and upgrade any workspace that needs it. Your eDiscovery AI contact can help identify affected workspaces.
